The official name for this service is Fingerprint Applicant Services of Texas (FAST) and all its locations are operated by a third party company named IdentoGO.

FBI clearance is required separately and in addition to the state police check for Canada and Australia’s permanent residency application along with US green card i485 application.

How to Apply

The process is slightly difference for texas residents and non residents.

Texas Residents

1. Schedule an appointment on-line at IdentoGO or by calling 1-888-467-2080.
2. Visit Identgo Fingerprint Center and give your fingerprints with a Live scanner.
3. The Police clearance request is sent directly to Texas DPS after fingerprints within 4 hours.
4. Your notarized PCC certificate is sent to you by USPS mail at the USA address you would have given at the time of application.
   

Non-Residents

You would need to send manual fingerprint cards (Download Form FD258). Sample FD-258 form. You can also buy FD 258 card from Amazon prime (pack of 3) or a pack of 25 FD 258 cards.

The fingerprint card needs to be printed on a hard white paper. I recommend buying it from Amazon than printing it at home.

1. Schedule an appointment on-line at IdentoGO or by calling 1-888-467-2080 to submit your MANUAL fingerprint card.
2. Mail FD 258 card to Identgo Fingerprint Center.
3. The Police clearance request is sent directly to Texas DPS after fingerprints within 4 hours.
4. Your notarized PCC certificate is sent to you by USPS mail at the USA address you would have given at the time of application.
